Assistive Technology Workshop for Parents

Donald Reist OCT, B.Sc., B.Ed., Director and Special Education Specialist at Tutorwiz Education Centre will go over various educational software that our boards of education are using, both on their in class computers and in the laptops that our children use on an individual basis. Don will tell us about programs such as Kurzweil, Dragon Naturally Speaking, and Word Q and provide a demonstration of each one. This will help parents understand what these programs can and cannot do and help you to help your child use their assistive technology to its best advantage.
