This summer we are excited to be offering a 8-week pilot project to provide some paid work experience for six Precious Minds participants that have expressed interest in attaining meaningful employment. Our staff team and volunteers will work alongside the participants and provide an individualized approach to teaching important workplace skills. Participants will learn through practical experience, role playing and questions/answer activities.
 

This 8-week pilot project will help the Precious Minds Board and Staff Team understand:

• how best to support participants in a work environment and teach the necessary skills for a meaningful employment experience.

• how to build programming that supports the transferrable Workplace Skills 

• will guide future plans to support participants in developing skills that will make them successful in the workplace
